As the Kansas City Chiefs look to make a run to another Super Bowl title, these two hidden gems can help the cause.

The Kansas City Chiefs have clinched their seventh straight AFC West title with three games to go this season, and they are in the conversation to represent the AFC in Super Bowl LVII.

The Chiefs have hosted the last four AFC Championship Games, winning twice and winning a Super Bowl once. As long as Patrick Mahomes is around, Kansas City will be a Super Bowl contender.

But to laud Mahomes is not to overlook the work Andy Reid and Brett Veach do. Veach is one of the best general managers in the NFL, and Reid stands as one of the best head coaches in the league over the last 20-25 years.

Finding draft steals and unearthing finds in free agency is one thing. But the Chiefs have a unique ability to find players that fill needs, bolster depth and in a broader sense just end up fitting perfectly.

As the Chiefs look to finish the regular season strongly and make another deep playoff run, here are two hidden gems that can help them win another Super Bowl.

Hidden gems who will help the Chiefs win another Super Bowl: Michael Danna

A fifth-round pick in the 2020 draft, Danna made as solid impact over his first two seasons with 5.5 sacks over 30 games in a small role. In 10 games this season he has three sacks, including two of Chargers’ quarterback Justin Herbert in Week 11. Four of his 8.5 career sacks have come against the Chargers/Herbert.

While there are better-known names on the Chiefs’ defensive line (Chris Jones, Frank Clark, George Karlaftis, Carlos Dunlap), Danna will play a key role as a rotational edge rusher going forward. When getting after Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, etc. becomes most important in the playoffs, look for the third-year man to make an impact.
