Let’s check in on the AFC Standings and NFL Playoff Picture after the Packers defeated the Dolphins in Week 16 and how it opened the AFC Playoff Picture.

As the NFL regular season comes to an end, every game matters more than ever before, with teams trying to secure a playoff spot.

Even teams that have clinched their playoff berth are still vying for seeding positions. Teams like the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills have clinched their division and are on top of their conference.

Zach Wilson and the Jets dug an even deeper hole by losing to the Jaguars this week. Meanwhile, Jacksonville is the new No. 4 overall seed in the AFC. Thanks to the Titans’ loss to the Texans, the Jaguars are now in control of their destiny. If they win their next two games against the Texans and Titans, they will win the AFC South and host a playoff game.

The Baltimore Ravens secured their playoff spot with their win over the Atlanta Falcons and losses by the New England Patriots and New York Jets. The Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals are still competing for the AFC North division, and the two teams are set to face off in Week 18.

The Los Angeles Chargers, the current sixth seed in the AFC, got some help from the Jets, Patriots, and Raiders’ Week 16 losses. The Chargers must defeat the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football to secure their playoff spot.
