2382. Pick Analysis. . Liberty Flames. Jamey Chadwell. player. Scouting Report. Head Coach

Liberty feels like a lateral move for Jamey Chadwell, but that might be required

It was rather head-scratching when Jamey Chadwell left Coastal Carolina for Liberty. Some may have viewed this as a lateral move, but Chadwell will get even better resources at his new place of employment. This is all about drafting off all the positive momentum Hugh Freeze created for the Flames. If Chadwell wins 10 games annually over the next few years, he will be going Power Five.

Grade: B+

What up, Beck? Tim Beck takes over at Coastal Carolina with great expectations

Tim Beck replaces Jamey Chadwell at Coastal Carolina in a move nobody saw coming. Not to say Beck was not ready for this, but who saw Chadwell going to Liberty? Regardless, Beck has been a long-time college offensive coordinator, most recently at North Carolina State. He did wonders with Devin Leary in Raleigh. Beck could have Grayson McCall pushing toward the first round now.

Grade: B

2388. Head Coach. Eric Morris. . North Texas Mean Green. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Eric Morris was hired by North Texas the day after his mentor Mike Leach passed

North Texas moving off Seth Littrell was odd to say the least. The Mean Green made it abundantly clear what his win total needed to be to keep his job in 2023 and he came up one short. They were able to hire Eric Morris off Jake Dickert’s Washington State staff. The former Texas Tech wide receiver was hired by North Texas the day after his mentor Mike Leach passed. It must be a sign!

Grade: B

Jeff Brohm will be pure positivity taking over his alma mater back at Louisville

What Jeff Brohm did at Purdue will never be fully appreciated. The Boilermakers won the Big Ten West in a down year for the division, but it was only a matter of time before his alma mater came calling. After a rocky run under Scott Satterfield and a previous remarrying with Bobby Petrino, Louisville needed some good vibes. Brohm will bring more than that to U of L. This hire is perfect.

Grade: A+
