The AFC Playoff picture locked in one more team for the playoffs as the Jaguars beat the Titans to win the AFC South division title. One spot remains.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are playoff bound.

Trevor Lawrence and company needed a win over the Titans on Saturday night to claim the AFC South division title. They got it thanks to a late scoop-and-score giving them 20-16 victory.

It was the perfect end to a regular season that started 4-8 and ended with five straight victories.

The Jaguars are in and the Titans are out in a fitting expression of their late-season trajectories. While Jacksonville was on a winning streak, Tennessee suffered a seven-game skid to end the campaign.

x-clinched top seed, z-clinched division, y-clinched playoffs

Earlier on Saturday, the Chiefs clinched the No. 1 spot in the AFC and the bye that comes with it. However, there’s still plenty to sort out on Sunday.

A Bills win over the Patriots could set up a neutral-site AFC Championship Game while also opening the door for the Dolphins or Steelers to claim the final wild-card spot over New England.

Meanwhile, the Chargers and Ravens are battling for seeding as the former plays the Broncos and the latter takes on the Bengals.

That’s something Jaguars fans will want to keep an eye on as they spend the day celebrating their playoff berth. Either opponent will be one they’ve already beaten this season. They blew out Los Angeles earlier this season 38-10. Midway through the campaign they edged out Baltimore 28-27. The next meeting will be with a whole lot more on the line.
