What are the key stats for NBA teams in the Central Division?
Milwaukee Bucks: Is Giannis grubbing?
When Giannis Antetokounmpo scores 28+ points, the Bucks are a top-notch 18-4 this season. When Giannis scores less than 28 points, the Bucks are just 3-8.
Bonus: The Bucks are actually 4-2 without Giannis this season.
Cleveland Cavaliers: Is D. Mitch running it up?
When Donovan Mitchell scores 32+ points, the Cavs are a pristine 14-1. In all other games, the Cavs are a below-average 12-14.
Bonus: When Jarrett Allen scores 14+ points, the Cavs are an excellent 13-3.
Indiana Pacers: Is Haliburton putting up points?
When Tyrese Haliburton scores at least 20 points, the Pacers have a very good 16-5 record this season. In all other games, the Pacers are 7-13.
Haliburton is the key to the Pacers’ peskiness and is first in the NBA in total assists with a lead of 49 assists over No. 2 Trae Young.
Chicago Bulls: Is LaVine sniping 3s?
When Zach LaVine shoots 40 percent or better on 3-pointers this season, the Bulls are a fantastic 13-3. In all other games, the Bulls are 6-18.
Bonus: When DeRozan scores 30+ points, the Bulls are only 4-10. But when DeRozan has 5+ assists, the Bulls are 15-8.
Detroit Pistons: Is Alec Burks popping off?
When Alec Burks scores 18+ points, the Pistons are 5-3 this season. In all other games, the Pistons are 6-29. So almost half of Detroit’s 11 wins have occurred when Alec Burks pops off.
