Find out who the Dallas Cowboys will play during the 2023 regular season as the playoffs draw closer.

Although the postseason is less than a day away from starting, all 32 NFL clubs know who will play who this upcoming September, including the NFC East juggernaut Dallas Cowboys.

The Cowboys had a stellar 2022 campaign as they looked to maintain their recent string of success with Dak Prescott under center for America’s Team. The Cowboys went 12-5, just missing out on an NFC East title but strong together some quality wins in the process. These victories included putting a dent in Tennessee’s playoff hopes, knocking off the NFC North champion Minnesota Vikings and rallying late to knock of a Houston Texans team searching for the first pick in the draft (thanks, Bears).

Dallas’ record was good enough to earn a berth in the postseason and an NFC Wild Card game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Monday night. If the Cowboys can win, they’ll likely travel to Philadelphia for round three with the Eagles (barring a Seahawks upset).

As for the 2023 schedule, it follows the same format that every other team goes by, as per the NFL scheduling guidelines. As a reminder, NFL teams play 17 games instead of 16, with one built-in bye week.

  • Six divisional opponent games — One home, one away for each rival
  • Four games against teams from a division in the conference — two at home, two on the road
  • Four games against teams from a division in the opposite conference — two at home, two on the road
  • Two games against teams from the two remaining divisions in its own conference based on division ranking from the previous season — one at home, one on the road
  • One 17th game against non-conference opponent from a division team is not scheduled to play based on division ranking from previous season
