NFL Playoffs: 5 bold predictions for Vikings vs. Giants
By Ryan Heckman
2. Isaiah Hodgins will score two touchdowns against the Vikings
Although the Vikings will hold a lead and never give it up, that doesn’t mean it won’t come without a fight. After all, we are talking about the second-worst pass defense in football this year. The Vikings are giving up over 265 yards per game through the air, so they’ll be in for a long afternoon.
One of the main beneficiaries of this poor pass defense is going to be the unheralded Isaiah Hodgins, who has come on since joining the team after originally being drafted by the Buffalo Bills.
Hodgins led the Giants in targets in their first game with Minnesota when he was targeted 12 times. He came up with eight catches for 89 yards and a score. The former sixth-round pick back in 2021 really ended the year strong on a team that struggled to find an identity within their pass-catching group.
Over his last five games played, Hodgins caught four touchdowns and became one of the favorite targets of Daniel Jones.
Against the Vikings, Hodgins will find the end zone again, and again. He’ll be on the end of two Jones passing touchdowns, although once again, it’ll come in a loss for the Giants.
