Sure, pitchers and catchers haven’t even reported yet, but let’s take a look at our MLB power rankings of which teams could be the ones to beat in the 2023 postseason.

It’s been a wild offseason with the Carlos Correa drama and the New York Mets going on a shopping spree of historic proportions. Aaron Judge is back in the Bronx while Justin Verlander decided to chase another ring in Queens versus Houston.

There are so many salivating storylines heading into the season, but it’s clear that there are some teams already prepped to do some major damage in the postseason.

MLB power rankings: Which teams will make the 2023 postseason?

Once again this season, six teams from each league will make the postseason, meaning there will be 12 squads with a chance when meaningful October baseball begins to take home the World Series trophy.

In the American League, division winners will include the New York Yankees (East), Cleveland Guardians (Central), and Houston Astros (West). The three Wild Card teams will be the Chicago White Sox, Seattle Mariners, and Toronto Blue Jays.

Over in the National League, division winners will include the San Diego Padres (West), St. Louis Cardinals (Central), and New York Mets (East). Rounding out the bracket will be the Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, and Philadelphia Phillies.
