The Chiefs defensive line sounds more than ready to extend their playoff run based on a postgame interview featuring Frank Clark and Chris Jones.

You can’t win a Super Bowl without belief and confidence. The Chiefs defensive line is absolutely oozing with both at exactly the right moment.

Following Kansas City’s 27-20 win over the Jaguars in the AFC Divisional Round, Frank Clark and Chris Jones made it clear exactly what kind of swagger they’re carrying into the AFC Championship Game.

James Palmer of NFL Network was trying to ask Clark a question about the injury to Patrick Mahomes when Jones and others swarmed in to give a piece of their mind.

The result? An absolutely epic postgame interview that should have Chiefs fans ready to run through a wall because their defensive line definitely is.

“We smell blood baby!” Jones shouted.

Once things calmed down, Clark went on to answer the question about Mahomes, highlighting his importance to the team and his leadership in the locker room.

He also gave his thoughts on the matchup between the Bills and Bengals, the winner of which will be KC’s AFC title game opponent.

“I don’t really give a damn, bring ’em all,” Clark said.

The defensive line may need to up their game given the injury to Mahomes. After the game, he told reporters that he expects to be able to play but he definitely won’t be 100 percent.

Whichever team the Chiefs face, revenge will be on the cards. The Bills beat Kansas City in October, 24-20. The Bengals also beat them, 27-24, in December. A game against Cincinnati would also be a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship game, which ended in disappointment for the Chiefs.
