Joe Burrow does not like to say much, but he dropped the line of the year after the Cincinnati Bengals eliminated the Buffalo Bills.

Who better than Joe Burrow to drop the quote of the year at the exact right time?

Prior to the divisional playoff game between the Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals, the NFL announced the sale of tickets to a neutral-site AFC Championship game between Buffalo and the Kansas City Chiefs in Atlanta should it have come to fruition.

The Bengals were gracious the night of the Damar Hamlin injury that led to the potential neutral-site game, and it was wonderful to see Hamlin at the Divisional Round rematch between the Bills and Bengals. However, they felt disrespected leading up to Sunday’s playoff clash.

No doubt Burrow and his teammates were livid, and they took it out on the Bills in a 27-10 win, booking a trip to the AFC Championship Game, where they will face Patrick Mahomes, once again as an underdog, similar to last year, when they pulled off an upset. Burrow was asked about the neutral site game, and he had the line of the year that had Tracy Wolfson laughing as well.

Better get those refunds ready, indeed. If there was ever a reason to root for Joe Burrow, this might be it.

Joe Burrow delivered the ultimate mic-drop, trolled Bills fans after Bengals win

The Bengals still have to go into Kansas City and get a win for the second straight year. Additionally, if they get back to the Super Bowl, they will likely be underdogs to whoever represents the NFC. That may not matter.

For whatever reason, this Bengals team feels like they have a lot to prove. They saw what happened in the Super Bowl last year, where they lost in the waning seconds. Now, they want a chance to get back there and right the wrongs. It will be tough.

Even if they were to get past the AFC Championship Game, whoever wins the NFC will come in with a ferocious defensive line that can take advantage of the Bengals offensive line. Burrow will have to be on his A-Game and hope his line can hold up as they did against Buffalo for two more weeks if they want that trophy. One misstep and the season is over.

Still, at least the quarterback got to drop the line of the year.
