The Denver Nuggets got back to their winning ways on Tuesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans, but they find themselves as massive underdogs in the second night of a back-to-back against the Milwaukee Bucks.,

Denver could be without Michael Porter Jr. (personal) in this game, and the current line of Bucks -8 suggests that Nikola Jokic or Jamal Murray is likely going to sit this game out as well.

The Bucks welcomed Khris Middleton back to the lineup on Monday in a blowout win over the Detroit Pistons, and they are looking to stay cooking at home in this matchup.

Denver has won nine of its last 10 games, but it is just 3-3 against the spread so far this season in the second night of a back-to-back.

Fans would certainly love if Jokic suited up to watch him and Giannis Antetokounmpo battle, but the odds are showing that Milwaukee has a heavy advantage in this game.

Let’s dive into out best bet for this game:

Nuggets vs. Bucks odds, spread and total

Nuggets vs. Bucks prediction and pick

Jokic has been dealing with a hamstring injury, so the Nuggets may play things safe on a back-to-back and sit him. If that’s the case, Milwaukee is in a prime spot to win big on Wednesday.

The Bucks are one of the best teams in the NBA as home favorites this season, going 16-7 against the spread, and their offense is finally getting a chance to thrive with Middleton back.

Milwaukee will be missing Bobby Portis (knee sprain) in this game, but I still think the Bucks are poised to dominate a potentially shorthanded Denver team.

The Nuggets have been a terrific home team themselves, but they are just 12-10 straight up on the road and 4-3 ATS as road dogs, losing those games by an average margin of 6.4 points.

This game is really going to come down to the injury status for Denver, so bettors may want to wait to grab the best number if Jokic or Murray does end up playing .

Still, the Bucks have been elite at home and are 5-3 when Middleton plays this season. I’ll trust them as home favorites tonight.
