Philadelphia Eagles fans took to the streets after winning the NFC Championship over the San Francisco 49ers and reaching the Super Bowl.

Thanks to Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni, the Philadelphia Eagles are back atop the NFC. The conference championship game against the San Francisco 49ers wasn’t all that close, if anything due to the quarterback injuries suffered by the road team.

San Francisco was down to its fourth QB, Josh Johnson, who suffered a concussion in the second half. Brock Purdy, who injured his elbow in the first quarter, came back in the game but could barely throw the ball downfield.

Still, Philly was never challenged, and hung 30-plus points on the best defense in its conference. It was a statement win, and one that has Philly headed in the right direction as they travel to Arizona for the Super Bowl.

Eagles fans take to the streets

Broad Street has been taken over by celebrating Eagles fans, and the videos are already starting to pour in.

Ah, sobriety.

Philadelphia did grease the poles prior to the game, as that was a popular point of interest for Eagles and Phillies fans after their last championships. You have to hand it to city officials, they live and learn from their mistakes.

Green jerseys as far as the eyes can see. I feel sorry for the police tonight, and that’s a lot coming from me. For those interested, the Philadelphia police blotter is a frequent source of comedy after big wins for the home teams.

Broad street is where the party is at, it would appear.

The poles never stood a chance.

The photos of Broad Street are wild.

Philadelphia will face either the Kansas City Chiefs or Cincinnati Bengals in the Super Bowl. Given how the last celebration went, it’d be best to grease the poles…again.

Who would the Eagles rather face in Super Bowl 57: Chiefs or Bengals?. dark. Next
