Patrick Mahomes wife, Brittany Mahomes, took part in the trolling of the Cincinnati Bengals after the Chiefs won the AFC Championship Game.

The Cincinnati Bengals talked smack all week, only to come up a field goal short of making the Super Bowl. Instead, the Kansas City Chiefs will represent the AFC in the big game, after defeating the Bengals by a 23-20 scoreline.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes — although dealing with a high ankle sprain — played a big part in that victory. His wife, Brittany Mahomes, is an active Twitter personality who often comments on Kansas City’s games for better or worse. On Sunday night, it was for the better.

“Cancun on 3” is a reference to the Bengals and Eli Apple. The Cincinnati cornerback coined the ‘Burrowhead’ phrase which made the rounds all week.

Brittany and Patrick Mahomes celebrated the Chiefs win in style. They trolled the Bengals, along with Mahomes’ father (who is a former MLB pitcher).

Brittany shared the video of Patrick Mahomes Sr. lighting a cigar, and can be heard in the background yelling an expletive. Frankly, it’s tough to blame her.

“It feels great [to be headed back to the Super Bowl]. My baby boy did what he always do, he’s gonna show up and show out and I’m just glad he did it,” Mahomes Sr. said in the video.

Chris Jones, Travis Kelce and several of Mahomes’ KC teammates also commented on the ‘Burrowhead’ reference, making it all the more obvious that Cincinnati did the Chiefs a favor by giving them some bulletin-board material.

A chance at the Super Bowl is enough motivation for most players. The level of disrespect the Bengals showed was just the cherry on top.
