With all of the drama surrounding Lamar Jackson’s end-of-season, will the Baltimore Ravens really risk losing him?

Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. They just go together. Why would either side want a split? It wouldn’t look right.

But, it’s certainly a possibility.

The way the end of the season went for Jackson and Baltimore wasn’t pretty. It was anything but civil. And, despite head coach John Harbaugh saying Jackson is coming back, you never know with how wild NFL free agency gets.

A few other teams around the league could make things interesting for the Ravens. Three teams, particularly, should swoop in and steal Jackson away from the Panthers if he doesn’t get the franchise tag.

Teams that should steal Lamar Jackson in free agency: Carolina Panthers

This is such an underrated move that isn’t being talked about enough. The Carolina Panthers have a defense in place. They have an above-average offensive line. They have a commitment to the run and a highly-overlooked backfield in D’Onta Foreman (should they keep him around) and Chuba Hubbard.

Jackson would be coming into a great situation. Tom Brady is likely leaving Tampa Bay. The Saints don’t have an answer at quarterback. The Falcons are still rebuilding. This division is completely up for grabs. And, with Frank Reich as head coach now, the offense is in good hands.

Watching Jackson throwing to DJ Moore would be quite the show. The Panthers have a decent core built, so don’t sleep on them going into this offseason. If they were to add Jackson, the Panthers would become an immediate favorite in the NFC South.
