Steelers: 1 trade, 1 signing and 1 draft pick to get Kenny Pickett more weapons

One draft pick to get Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett another weapon: Xavier Hutchinson
If the Steelers opted to go the route of youth, but still look at adding a slot receiver, they could look at Iowa State’s Xavier Hutchinson in the draft.
Unlike the aforementioned Landry, this is a big-bodied target for Pickett. Hutchinson stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 210lbs. He’s a large, strong target that can play either outside or in the slot. The reason he’d fit well in the slot, here in Pittsburgh, is due to one of the main concerns being his downfield speed and separation.
Hutchinson can use his body well when getting in front of the football and making contested catches. His catch radius is large, and he’d present a phenomenal security blanket for Pickett.
Last year with Iowa State, Hutchinson caught a whopping 107 passes for 1,172 yards and six touchdowns. His productivity is unquestioned at the collegiate level, and if he comes into a situation like the Steelers, where he doesn’t have to be the number one, Hutchinson could find himself a comfortable, productive role.
