The Kansas City Chiefs may have already lost Super Bowl LVII because one of their fans decided to mess with the Rocky statue in Philadelphia.

Travis Kelce warned fans of the Kansas City Chiefs not to even think about messing with the Rocky statue in Philadelphia ahead of Super Bowl LVII.

For the most part, it’s been quiet. There were a few “attempts,” but things just got worse. One fan did not get the memo, and well, he went after Rocky.

Yikes, yikes, and triple yikes. What did we just say? Did he not see what happened to the Giants, Vikings, and 49ers? Did he not know what happened to the Patriots in the Super Bowl against the Eagles? As fate would have it, Twitter went off, most deservedly so.

Kansas City Chiefs might be in big trouble

However, here’s what’s an interesting nugget. What if that supposed Chiefs fan was actually an Eagles fan hoping to spread bad voodoo on KC ahead of the bout in Arizona? That is a possibility. Also, if anyone didn’t see the honors Thursday night, Kurt Warner gave Patrick Mahomes the league MVP.

For those unaware, the player who wins league MVP hasn’t won the Super Bowl since 1999, when Warner did it. Maybe that curse will be broken? KC did get to wear the superstitious white jerseys as the Eagles chose green. But Philly wore green the last time they won in 2017.

There’s also the coin toss curse, where the last eight teams to win the coin toss lose the game. Philly fans cannot control that; they only hope they lose the toss.

The oddsmakers may favor Philly, but there’s no doubt much of the sports world and fans are clamoring for Mahomes and co. to win the title; it would add fuel to the GOAT QB debate. But if the Rocky voodoo comes true, green, black, and white confetti will fall on Sunday.

KC fans better hope it does not, so the red and yellow confetti falls instead.
