Francisco Prado looks to continue his undefeated streak as he walks into the Octagon for the first time.

UFC 284 is coming in hot with a big main event as Islam Makhachev defends the lightweight championship against UFC featherweight champion, Alexander Volkanovski. While that bout headlines the show, there will be a number of other moments to watch across the card. Like the UFC debut of the undefeated Francisco Prado.

Prado is a 20-year-old prospect from Argentina. In four years he’s put together an active campaign, fighting multiple times each year, including four fights in 2022. His career to date has featured in regional organizations such as Samurai Fight House and Fighting Champions. He will bring an 11-0 record into the Octagon at UFC 284 for what will be the biggest bout of his young career.

Jamie Mullarkey will be Prado’s first test in the UFC

Prado will be welcomed by UFC veteran, Jamie Mullarkey. Mullarkey has been with the company since UFC 243 in 2019. Since then, he’s put together a 3-3 run under the promotion, picking up wins against Khama Worthy, Devonte Smith, and Michael Johnson, which was his last outing back in July. Mullarkey has dropped bouts to Brad Riddell, Fares Ziam, and Jalin Turner. He will bring a 15-5 record into this fight.
