1. Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals come in at number one for our list of teams who should trade for Cam Jordan. The Bengals recorded just 30 sacks last season and that total was the fourth-worst in the league.

Trey Hendrickson led the way with eight sacks despite some significant injuries, but the Bengals need help to get to the quarterback more often in 2023. Jordan would be a great fit on a team who has their sights set on winning the Super Bowl. The Bengals also need help at corner, but acquiring Jordan would allow them to still draft a defensive back with their first-round pick.

The Bengals currently have the fifth-most salary cap space in the league and have 20 free agents to make decisions on. Extending Joe Burrow before he becomes a free agent in 2025 is a priority but the need for more defense could supersede that in the short term.

If they can get Jordan for the remaining two years of his contract it might work financially for the Bengals. Jordan is itching to get a ring and the Bengals offer the best chance of doing that, even if he gets his wish and the Saints do snag Derek Carr to be their signal-caller.
