3. San Francisco 49ers

The Bay Area has done its fair share of chirping following their NFC Title Game loss to the Eagles. Having no quarterback certainly makes their argument an appropriate topic of discussion, given all the injuries sustained.

Speaking of quarterback, that’s what this organization needs to figure out. With no significant draft capital at their disposal, they had better hope that Trey Lance is the one that can solve the problem. The rest do the roster has the talent to make it work, but with no signal caller, no shot.

The team isn’t getting any younger. Though the NFC is less crowded than the AFC, the Eagles aren’t going anywhere. The NFC North still has formidable teams that can provide some challenges. The NFC South is still a division to be taken seriously, although Tom Brady is now gone (maybe?). San Francisco has a lot of work to do if they want to get that sixth title and join New England and Pittsburgh on the sixth floor.
