Best NBA Prop Bets Today for Thunder vs. Suns (Booker will thrive)

The Thunder came back from the break last night and their all-star, Shai Gilgeous Alexander, played like one. He had 39 points in the overtime win and could be ready to have an even finish to the year then his exceptional start. He’ll just be happy to finish a season after getting shut down by tanking OKC the past few years. Luckily for SGA and the Thunder, their former all-star and MVP Kevin Durant won’t be taking the floor for the Suns tonight.
KD has started to scrimmage with the team, but isn’t healthy enough to play just yet. That means more opportunities for the rest of Phoenix and for their opposition because the Suns are running out of wing defenders.
Thunder vs. Suns Prop Bet Picks
- SGA over 30.5 points (-125)
- Jalen Williams over 16.5 points + rebounds (-115)
- Devin Booker over 25.5 points (-125)
SGA over 30.5 points (-125)
SGA had 39 last night against the Jazz who are 26th in defensive rating and he needed overtime to do it. So, conventional wisdom might say he’ll have a tough time against Phoenix who is eighth in defensive rating. However, that metric is for the season, not this version of Phoenix without Mikal Bridges and Cameron Johnson. They’ve forfeited wing depth and I think SGA’s relentless attack will wear down Josh Okogie and Torrey Craig.
Jalen Williams over 16.5 points + rebounds (-115)
The same logic applies to Jalen Williams. The one from Santa Clara, not the Arkansas Jaylin Willians. He’s big, long, and athletic which is everything the Suns are not on the wing. KD will solve their problems once he gets back and the trade was worth it, but I expect them to take their lumps for a few more games.
Devin Booker over 25.5 points (-125)
If the Suns are getting beat on the defensive end, then somebody is going to have to answer. That responsibility falls to Devin Booker who will have Lu Dort in his space all night. I just think Booker is one of the best scorers in the league and will match SGA shot for shot. He’s averaging 26.6 points a game this year.
