Logan Paul roasts himself over cringe Jake Paul pre-fight bet
Jake Paul suffered his first professional boxing loss when he fell on the judges’ scorecards to Tommy Fury, the brother of heavyweight star Tyson Fury. Before the fight, Jake’s brother Logan Paul made a bet that his brother would win and put his PRIME equity at stake.
“I’d bet my equity in Prime that Jake Paul beats Tommy Fury tonight,” he tweeted.
Now that the fight is over and his brother did not, in fact, beat Fury, Logan is poking fun at himself and the bet, like any good sport would.
“alright who wants it,” he asked quote tweeting the bet.
PRIME, his sports and energy drink co-owned with KSI is doing incredibly well, and that might be an understatement. It’s flying off the shelves and is ever causing literal fights when it’s restocked.
Logan Paul’s PRIME is connected to Dana White and UFC
Just this month PRIME announced it would be the “Official Global Sports Drink of UFC” and have UFC Octagon branding. It was a huge move considering how much UFC president Dana White hates Logan’s brother and because Jake’s foray into MMA will be through the Professional Fighters League, and not the UFC. Ironically Jake was sponsored by Celsius for his fight, and not PRIME.
“We’re excited to name PRIME the Official Sports Drink of UFC and an official partner of the UFC Performance Institute,” said White via a press conference at the time. “Logan and KSI have worked hard to build PRIME into the best-tasting, hottest sports drink on the market. With their massive social media following and UFC’s global reach, we’re going to get the PRIME brand in front of hundreds of millions of fans all over the world. Whether you’re a professional athlete or if you just love working out, PRIME should be your first choice for a go-to sports drink.”
