There was one more match confirmed for WrestleMania 39 on the Feb. 27 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. Let’s take a look at the confirmed and projected match card.

There are 33 days remaining until WrestleMania 39, which takes place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. on Saturday, Apr. 1 and Sunday, Apr. 2.

Since the Elimination Chamber live event, there were only three matches confirmed for WrestleMania — Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal championship, Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and Bianca Belair vs. Asuka for the Raw Women’s championship. Now there are more matches confirmed for the show.

Let’s take a look at the matches made official for the “Showcase of the Immortals,” and those that will likely be added to the card in the coming days after the Feb. 27 episode of Monday Night Raw.

WWE WrestleMania 39 match card: Confirmed matches

  • Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes
  • SmackDown Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Rhea Ripley
  • Raw Women’s Championship: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka
  • Brock Lesnar vs. Omos (with MVP)

MVP issued a WrestleMania challenge to Brock Lesnar on last week’s Raw. But, it was for Lesnar to face off against the seven-foot Omos at the big premium live event. They gave Lesnar until the Feb. 27 episode of Raw to accept it.

Lesnar showed up during MVP’s “VIP Lounge” talk show segment, and asked to be sold why he should compete against Omos. After MVP made his pitch, Lesnar accepted and asked for a handshake and to have a celebratory drink he brought to honor the occasion. MVP then spit the drink in Lesnar’s face, albeit, unintentionally, was hit with an F5 in response.

Expected WWE WrestleMania 39 match card additions

  • Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships: The Uso’s (Jimmy and Jey Uso) (c) vs. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens
  • Edge vs. Finn Balor
  • Seth Rollins vs. Logan Paul
  • Bobby Lashley vs. Bray Wyatt
  • Becky Lynch, Lita, and Trish Stratus vs. Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky)
  • Intercontinental Championship: Gunther (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
  • Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio

To kick off the show, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa took on Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins. Despite a competitive effort by The Street Profits, they ended up on the losing end of the match after Sikoa hit Dawkins with a Samoan Spike. Following the win, Uso and Sikoa attacked the Street Profits, even attempting to hurt Ford with a steel chair. However, Kevin Owens made the save by entering the ring through the crowd, including hitting Uso with the Stunner.

During a taped backstage segment, Finn Balor bragged about attacking Edge last week. Then, Balor issued a challenge to face his foe at WrestleMania. Now, we wait to see if Edge accepts.

After The Miz announced that he was the official host of WrestleMania 39, he was interrupted by Seth Rollins. During the interaction, Rollins asked Miz to make a phone call to Logan Paul, to which Miz said no. Of course, Paul had cost Rollins a chance to win the United States championship at Elimination Chamber. Rollins superkicked Miz, took his phone, and got a hold of Paul and told him to show up on Raw next week to face off. Paul accepted. That should then set up Rollins vs. Paul at WrestleMania.

Bobby Lashley faced off against Elias, and defeated him in quick fashion. After the match, he called out Bray Wyatt and issued a warning — “keep my name out of your mouth.” A video package then aired on the titantron, with a response from Wyatt, which said “you should run.”

In the main event, Becky Lynch and Lita challenged Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Tag Team championships. Towards the end of the match, Bayley got involved, but Lynch and Lita got some help from the returning Trish Stratus. Lita then hit Sky with the Litasault to get the win and the championships for herself and Lynch.

After this match, it will likely be Lynch, Lita and Stratus facing Bayley, Kai, and Sky at WrestleMania.
