MLB spring training is in full force, yet teams continue to add to their rosters. Here’s a breakdown of recent news and signings, via major-league sources.

Injury season is upon us, and the Los Angeles Dodgers were the first unfortunate victims this spring. Gavin Lux went down with a torn ACL, per manager Dave Roberts. It’s unclear how Los Angeles will replace that production, but one option could be Miguel Rojas, along with others on the roster.

Lux thanked fans for their love and support on social media.

Manny Machado has dominated headlines recently, and rightfully so, after he signed an 11-year, $350 million contract extension with the San Diego Padres. A.J. Preller is hard at work, as he’s extended both Machado and Yu Darvish in recent weeks.
