Sunday, March 5th, is going to be a massive day for motorsports fans all around the world.

On Sunday, March 5th, fans of auto racing and all motorsports in general will have their hands full with different events throughout the day.

To kick things off, Formula 1 is returning for the season-opener in Bahrain.

Next, the IndyCar Series is kicking off its season-opener in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Once that’s done, the NASCAR Cup Series is going to be at one of the more popular tracks on the schedule, Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

How do I watch the Formula 1 season opener?

There has been a serious shift in the way Americans view Formula 1 in recent years. Thanks to the Netflix documentary Drive to Survive and the hype surrounding the first-ever Las Vegas Grand Prix coming up in 2023. Max Verstappen, the defending series champion, will look to follow up a dreadful 19th-place finish last year in the season opener with some better fortunes.

The 2023 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix kicks off at 10:00 a.m. ET this year. ESPN will be hosting the race on live television while anyone looking to stream the event will be able to access it with a subscription to ESPN+.

How do I watch the IndyCar Series season opener?

There will be a record-breaking 27 entrants for the IndyCar season opener at St. Petersburg, topping 26 which came in 2008, 2012 and 2022.

Scott McLaughlin won last year’s race while Will Power, the 2022 season champ, will look to break into the win column at this track for the first time since 2014.

The race will go green at 12:30 p.m. ET. On live television, NBC Sports will be hosting the race. For all you streamers out there, anyone with a subscription to Peacock will be able to watch the event as well.

How do I watch the NASCAR Cup Series in Las Vegas?

NASCAR has a ton of buzz so far this season. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. snapped a 199-race winless streak at the Daytona 500 while Kyle Busch won in his second-ever start for Richard Childress Racing at Fontana.

Joey Logano, the 2022 series champion, won the October Vegas race last year but Alex Bowman is the defending March race winner.

The green flag is set to wave at 3:30 p.m. ET and will on Fox Sports in the United States and TSN in Canada.
