THE PLAYERS Championship tee times, purse, odds and how to watch and stream the PGA Tour’s flagship event at TPC Sawgrass this week.

It’s time for the annual trip to TPC Sawgrass in Ponta Vedra Beach, FL for THE PLAYERS Championship, the flagship event for the PGA Tour. There will be no defending champion playing this year with Cameron Smith having gone to LIV Golf, so that means the best players in the world will be vying to take up the vacant throne and take hold of massive prize money and prestige on the line.

Rory McIlroy will be headlining the field as the favorite and as the past champion at THE PLAYERS Championship finished T2 last week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. However, Scottie Scheffler and Jon Rahm are also in the field looking to challenge him while the likes of Viktor Hovland, Collin Morikawa, Xander Schauffele and many more try to get their first taste of victory at TPC Sawgrass.

This is a beautiful event at an iconic venue that should be absolutely thrilling to watch, as always, and not just for the drama on the (in)famous 17th hole and the island green on the Par 3. So let’s check out THE PLAYERS Championship tee times, the purse and prize money on the line, the odds for who will win and most importantly how fans can watch and stream the PGA Tour this week.

THE PLAYERS Championship tee times, field 2023

As you’d expect for the flagship event on the PGA Tour, the field is absolutely stacked with 43 of the Top 50 players in the world in the latest OWGR teeing it up along with eight previous winners of this event and six former FedExCup champions. Unfortunately, defending champion Cameron Smith is not in the field after his defection to join LIV Golf at the conclusion of last season.

Now let’s take a look at the tee times this week for THE PLAYERS Championship.
