Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. impressed over a dozen interested teams during his workout in Arizona on Friday.
NFL free agency officially begins on Wednesday, March 15, where teams can sign free agents in hopes of their team improving. For Odell Beckham Jr., he is one of the top free agent wide receivers available, but he can sign whenever he so chooses since he didn’t sign on with a team during the 2022 season. On Friday, he held a workout for interested teams in Arizona.
There were reportedly 12-14 teams in attendance for Beckham’s workout, and the veteran wide receiver impressed. CBS Sports’ Josina Anderson posted a video from Beckham’s workout that the wide receiver sent, which showed him making a seamless one-handed catch.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler shared information he received from teams who were in attendance for the workout. One told Fowler how muscular Beckham looks, calling him “a combination of Saquon Barkley and Deebo Samuel.” Another said that Beckham was still a gifted athlete.
Out of the 12-14 teams that were in attendance, the New York Giants, Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens, Los Angeles Rams, Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings, and Cleveland Browns, per CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones.
Beckham suffered a torn ACL during the Los Angeles Rams’ Super Bowl 56 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. He attempted to play during the 2022 season, going on a free agency tour to the Giants, Bills, and Dallas Cowboys. But, no deal transpired between all three teams, as he wasn’t expected to return from the knee injury in the latter portion of the regular-season.
In his last full season played, Beckham caught 44-of-82 targets for 537 yards and five touchdowns between the Rams and the Cleveland Browns. Beckham recorded 27 receptions for 305 yards and five touchdowns with the Rams that year.
With the workout complete, now fans wait to see if any of the 12-14 teams in attendance will sign Beckham to a contract.
