Projected WWE WrestleMania 39 match card after March 13 Raw

One new match was added to the WrestleMania 39 card on the March 13 episode of Monday Night Raw.

WWE WrestleMania 39 is less than three weeks away, and the card for the gigantic premium live event is getting more and more stacked by the day. The show will be taking place across two nights — Saturday, Apr. 1 and Sunday, Apr. 2 — live from SoFI Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.

On the previous episode of Monday Night Raw, there were three matches added to the show — Seth Rollins vs. Logan Paul, Austin Theory vs. John Cena for the United States Championship, and Becky Lynch, Lita and Trish Stratus vs. Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky.

On March 13, were there any new matches added to the card at SoFi Stadium? Let’s take a look at the new matches confirmed during the latest episode of Raw.

WWE WrestleMania 39 match card: Confirmed matches

Here is what the confirmed match card looked like entering the March 13 episode of Raw.

• Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes
• SmackDown Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Rhea Ripley
• Raw Women’s Championship: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka
• Brock Lesnar vs. Omos (with MVP)
• Seth Rollins vs. Logan Paul
• United States Championship: Austin Theory (c) vs. John Cena
• Becky Lynch, Lita and Trish Stratus vs. Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky)

Here are the new matches that were confirmed for WrestleMania 39 during this latest episode of Raw:

• Hell in a Cell match: Edge vs. Finn Balor

Edge opened up the show to respond to Finn Balor’s WrestleMania challenge. Balor walked onto the stage alongside the Judgment Day. Edge accepted his challenge, but then he detailed all of the ways the Judgment Day made his past year “hell.” So, “The Rated R Superstar” upped the stakes, as he challenged Balor to a Hell in a Cell match. Balor accepted, and this will be the first Hell in a Cell match at “the Grandest Stage of Them All,” since WrestleMania 32.

Expected WWE WrestleMania 39 match card additions

Here are the matches that have yet to be confirmed, but can be expected to be added down the line, based off what happened on the March 13 episode of Raw.

• Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio
• Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships: The Uso’s (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso) (c) vs. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens

Rey Mysterio made an appearance on Raw, just days after he was announced as the first inductee into the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame class. Much like this past Friday on SmackDown, Rey was interrupted by his 25-year-old son Dominik, who blamed his father for not being there for him as he was growing up. After continuing to air his grievances, Dominik challenged Rey to a match at WrestleMania 39. Rey said like he had in previous instances — he’ll never fight his son, and walked backstage, while Dominik berated him.

With five more episodes of WWE programming heading into WrestleMania 39, expect the match to be confirmed at some point in that span.

In the main event of Raw, Kevin Owens took on Solo Sikoa in a Street Fight. Late in the match, Owens chased Sikoa to the back, where he was then attacked by The Uso’s. The Undisputed WWE Tag Team champions dragged Owens back to the ring, hit stereo super kicks, and Sikoa hit his Samoan Spike finishing move to pick up the victory.

While Owens has been apprehensive of joining Zayn’s fight against the Bloodline, it will eventually happen in the next two weeks, leading to the match at WrestleMania for the Undispusted WWE Tag Team championships.
