1. Dalton Kincaid

Prescott thrives when he’s able to take advantage of dynamic mismatches. That’s why the Cowboys should prioritize a weapon like Kincaid at the tight end position. He isn’t a great in-line blocker but he’s ready to make an immediate impact as an intermediate and deep receiver at the NFL level.

Drafting Kincaid won’t make Cowboys fans forget all about losing Schultz, but he’s the more dynamic of the Daltons. He was regularly flexed out in the slot at Utah and showed a concrete ability to beat opposing corners with his size and speed.

Admittedly, swapping Schultz for Kincaid would require some changes in Dallas’ offensive philosophy. He’s a willing blocker but he’s nothing more than an average contributor in the run game. The Cowboys should be willing to make those changes to improve the explosivity of their offense.

Kincaid could fly off the board in the middle of Round 1, but he’s a guy that Dallas should covet if he slips to them at No. 26. There’s a cogent argument to be made that he would turn into the Cowboys’ best pass catcher during his rookie campaign.
