There have been rumblings the Broncos could look at a Jerry Jeudy trade and several teams are reportedly interested — but the asking price is way high.

Though we really haven’t seen much movement on this front, the wide receiver trade market in the NFL could be lucrative this offseason. DeAndre Hopkins could be out in Arizona, things seem strange with Stefon Diggs, Brandin Cooks could still be moved, and D.J. Moore was dealt in the Panthers trade up to No. 1. And then we have the Denver Broncos.

Reports have been simmering that they could deal any of their top three wide receivers — Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, K.J. Hamler — this offseason if the price is right. Such is the world with Sean Payton coming in and starting to reshape the roster in his image.

Jeudy appears to be the most coveted commodity of the three, though. And as such, he’s already drawing heavy interest around the league, from some big-time landing spots too.

NFL rumors: Jerry Jeudy trade drawing interest from Cowboys, Browns, Patriots but asking price is sky-high

According to Broncos and NFL insider Benjamin Allbright, a Jerry Jeudy trade has been discussed by the Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots with Denver. However, the Broncos’ asking price is currently slowing the process down as they are looking for either a first-round pick or a second-round pick paired with a player.

That’s a steep price for Jeudy given what he’s done on the field, though many still believe the former first-round pick has untapped potential still.

This could go one of two ways. On one hand, if Denver is motivated to move Jeudy, they could be talked down from their current asking price slightly to get a deal done. On the other hand, if they stand firm, then teams would assumedly be unlikely to meet that high price and Jeudy will stay on the Broncos.

It’s clear that there is interest in Jerry Jeudy, though, and with an asking price reportedly set, it’s a situation worth monitoring.
