Taking a look at the Valspar Championship payout distribution for this week at the Copperhead Course for how much players get from the $8.1 million purse.

Particularly sandwiched in between two elevated events like THE PLAYERS and the WGC Match Play, the Valspar Championship might not be the most coveted prize on the PGA Tour and the field for the 2023 tournament at the Copperhead Course reflected that. However, that still set us up for a big finish on Sunday as the players competed for their share of the Valspar Championship payout with the purse at $8.1 million.

The winner this week was set to take home a nice $1.458 million that, while it isn’t the $4.5 million that Scottie Scheffler won at TPC Sawgrass, is still life-changing money. More importantly, some heavy hitters were in the mix. Adam Schenk was the 54-hole leader but had two of the best players in the field, Jordan Spieth and Tommy Fleetwood, hot on his heels.

That all led to a dramatic Sunday finish at Innisbrook Golf Resort with big names and big stakes on the line this week. So let’s take a look the money on the line as well as we look at the 2023 Valspar Championship payout by finishing position in this week’s PGA Tour tournament.

And again, this isn’t insignificant money that these players are competing for at the Valspar, nor are the FedExCup points that can lead to bigger paydays and longevity on the Tour moving forward.
