2023 NFL Draft: Full two-round mock after early free agency waves

player. 46. . QB. Indianapolis Colts. Bryce Young. 3

The Indianapolis Colts hold the No. 4 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, but if Bryce Young is still on the board, you can be sure they will plan to move up. There are some QB-needy teams behind them in this first round, so they have to send the Arizona Cardinals a strong offer to move up one spot, which they do in this mock.

With the pick, Young takes over as the franchise quarterback in Indianapolis, and he gets a head coach who can help him develop at the NFL level. Shane Steichen played a huge part in Jalen Hurts’s development across the last few seasons, and with Young as his guy in Indianapolis, he could see instant success.

32. . Edge. Arizona Cardinals. Will Anderson Jr.. 4. player

The Arizona Cardinals drop down one spot in our latest mock draft, and while some teams may come calling again for Will Levis, they stay put at No. 4 overall. That is because their new head coach is a defensive guru, and with his first-ever Day 1 pick, Jonathan Gannon selects the best overall player in this draft class.

Will Anderson Jr. is the prototypical edge rusher at the NFL level, and someone who I believe will rack up at least ten sacks as a rookie next season. Arizona is making a lot of changes in player personnel, and the coaching staff, and in Anderson, they get a cornerstone defensive player for the foreseeable future.
