The playoff picture is starting to come together in the Eastern Conference, but the play-in picture isn’t quite as clear. The Miami Heat are likely not going to fall into the play-in because they are leading their division, so therefore can’t fall below sixth, but they’re currently seventh and the Toronto Raptors are ninth.

The Conference is crowded in the middle and these teams need their best players to play like it down the stretch to either lock into or win their way out of the play-in tournament.

There are stars we are backing tonight and others I want to fade in the prop market.

Heat vs. Raptors best NBA prop bets

  • Jimmy Butler over 23.5 points (-105)
  • Pascal Siakam under 22.5 points (-118)
  • OG Anunoby over 15.5 points (-120)

Jimmy Butler over 23.5 points (-105)

Jimmy Butler is doing the Jimmy Butler thing again. You know, the one where he turns into a top 10 player in the league out of nowhere once the games start to matter more. Yeah, that thing, it’s happening.

For the year Butler is averaging 22.8 points a game with 5.1 assists and 6.0 rebounds on 53% from the field and 35% from 3.

In March, he’s averaging 26..1 points, 5.3 assists, and 6.1 rebounds on 57.5% from the field and an absurd 47.4% from 3. He’s taking 10.8 free throws a game this month and for the season his average is 8.8. The man has flipped the switch.

Pascal Siakam under 22.5 points (-118)

The exact opposite can be said about Siakam, though he unlike Butler has a championship ring. Down the stretch this year, he’s been his worst. For the year he’s at 24.2 points a game with 48/34/76 shooting splits, but in March he’s at 19.8 a game on 47/28/72 shooting.

OG Anunoby over 15.5 points (-120)

I feel like I’ve found value hunting splits over time in this game, but we can also find some looking at home/road splits.

Simply put, Anunoby scores 18.3 points at home and 15.3 on the road. Let’s take his over in Toronto tonight.
