Stefon Diggs Tweeted out song lyrics that have certain sects of Bills Twitter going into a tailspin.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs isn’t stopping with the cryptic Tweets. Torturing NFL fans is probably fun for him, huh?

Remember, Diggs was pretty notably displeased with Buffalo’s performance in 2022, and several times was caught during games yelling at his coaching staff and quarterback Josh Allen to get him the ball. If there’s a candidate for a star receiver to be traded not yet rumored to be officially on the market, it’s Diggs.

On Sunday afternoon, Diggs decided it would be a good time to Tweet, “Comeeeeee anddddd rescue me…”

What does it mean, Stefon?!?!

It’s a great time to break out this way-too-real Tweet:

Stefon Diggs is enjoying some Drake. But there’s truth to every song lyric Tweeted

A new Drake song called “Rescue Me” was shared by the famed rapper recently. It hit the news cycle because it featured a snippet of Kim Kardashian talking about her divorce with Kanye West, which was taken by some to be a potential veiled shot at West.

The melodic lyrics “Come and rescue me” appear to be what Diggs Tweeted.

So, the simple answer? He’s just enjoying the latest new music (can confirm: the latest Drake song is super catchy).

The more complicated answer? There’s some truth to every cryptic song lyric Tweeted. What does Diggs need rescuing from? The Bills? Is he snowed in his house in Buffalo? Has anyone done a welfare check?!

Or, maybe he’s stuck in an unideal mobile phone plan. Or he’s trying to cut the cord but signed a 3-year contract with DirecTV? Someone rescue him from these obligations!

There are a virtually limitless number of things one could use rescuing from.

This all comes 16 hours after he shared a menacing photo of Patrick Star on his Twitter. He is clearly, as some would say, “on one,” right now.

Diggs just restructured his contract to help the Bills out which killed most of the speculation on him as a trade candidate. But trust that this Tweet will have people thinking in that direction yet again.

Bills fans should just be glad he didn’t go full demon mode on April Fool’s Day.
