It was a short slate of game son Monday night, but a successful one for us, cashing on both bets I gave out on yesterday’s best bets article.

Let’s see if we can keep the momentum going today with Tuesday night’s 11-game slate.

It’s time to break down my three best bets for tonight.

Best NHL bets today

  • Penguins/Devils OVER 6.5 (-125)
  • Golden Knights -125 vs. Predators
  • Kings +105 vs. Oilers

Penguins/Devils OVER 6.5 (-125)

The Penguins and Devils have been some of the best offensive teams in the NHL over the past few weeks. Over their last 10 games, they rank 1st and 4th in expected goals per 60 minutes.

To further help the OVER, neither team has received strong goaltending over the same stretch of games. Both teams have a save percentage south of 89% over that span.

I think we’re going to see plenty of goals tonight.

Golden Knights -125 vs. Predators

The Predators continue to be one of the worst teams in the NHL in the final stretch of the regular season. Over their last 10 games, they’re dead last in expected goals percentage, with an expected goal differential per 60 minutes of -1.39.

The Predators will also have to opt for their backup goaltender, Kevin Lankinen, tonight after playing their start, Juuse Saros last night.

Give me the Golden Knights to win and hang on to their top spot in the Pacific Division.

Kings +105 vs. Oilers

The Kings and Oilers are battling it out in the Pacific and tonight will be a pivotal game for both teams.

The Kings have been playing strong defense in their own end, ranking fourth in the NHL in expected goals against over their last 10 games. This is an area the Oilers have stumbled in lately, coming in at 14th in that stat over the same stretch of games.

Los Angeles has also been getting strong goaltending, ranking fourth in the league in team save percentage over the past few weeks.

Give me the Kings as home underdogs tonight.
