Bronny James, son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, is now trending to commit to this team, based on 247Sports and On3 Sports predictions.

The basketball world is getting that much closer to seeing Bronny James, son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, enter the collegiate ranks. From there, he will undoubtedly enter the NBA Draft, after which he could potentially play alongside his father at some point.

But, fans are waiting to see where the Sierra Canyon four-star recruit commits to first.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, James is trending towards committing to the USC Trojans basketball program. Specifically, they have USC as the favorite at 72.3 percent, with the Ohio State Buckeyes listed at 27.5 percent.

USC Trojans projected to be landing spot for LeBron James

On3 isn’t the only college recruiting site to predict James to join the Trojans. 247 Sports’ Trevor Andershock gave a crystal ball prediction that James would commit to Southern California.

USC was reportedly one of James’ top three schools he’d consider committing to, per the Los Angeles Times’ Luca Evans. The other programs were Ohio State and Oregon. But according to 247 Sports, USC and Ohio State were the only two schools in his top three to make him an offer.

James, just after participating in the McDonald’s All-American Game, is set to participate in the Nike Hoop Summit in Portland, Ore., playing for Team USA on Saturday, Apr. 8.

A person close to James told Adam Zangoria of Forbes that “I’m sure he will make his decision real soon.” Additionally, Zangoria says there’s speculation that he could make a decision after the tournament this weekend.

Whenever a decision is made by Bronny, USC is the program to keep an eye on.
