The Masters was delayed midway through the second round due to inclement weather. After finishing on Saturday, when will Round 3 at The Masters start?

Tiger Woods will be playing the weekend at The Masters for the record-tying 23rd straight time at Augusta National Golf Club. He barely made the cut on the number as he and many others had to finish their second rounds on Saturday morning due to inclement weather and a tree-falling accident on Friday afternoon.

Woods, of course, isn’t in contention. That belongs to some big names with Brooks Koepka leading the charge at 12-under after his first two rounds, trailed by Jon Rahm at 10-under and amateur Sam Bennett at 8-under. Meanwhile, Collin Morikawa and Viktor Hovland are tied for fourth at 6-under, still within striking distance perhaps.

Now it’s onto Round 3 and the weekend at The Masters. But with the interrupted schedule, there are some questions about what’s next.

The players left on the course that had to come back out to finish on Saturday morning before the cut finished just before 11 a.m. ET. So when will the players get back out there and resume playing for the third round?

Masters Round 3 start time: When will play resume at Augusta National?

The Masters third round will have a quick turnaround from the end of the second round. The Masters Round 3 start time is set to be at 11:30 a.m. ET, just about a half-hour after the second round concluded.

To try and get back on schedule for the week, players will be in threesomes on Saturday for the third round with players teeing off both No. 1 and No. 10 for the round. That should allow us to get the round in — or close to it — and then get us into a Sunday finish. After all, The Masters has not finished on Monday in 40 years, so Augusta clearly doesn’t want that to happen this week either.
