NFL Mock Draft: 3 first round mistakes Packers can’t afford to make

First Round mistakes the Packers can’t afford to make in 2023 NFL Draft: Failing to trade back with a quarterback available at No. 15
Early this week, we saw Adam Schefter appear live on ESPN and give us a very, very interesting tidbit about the quarterback position in this draft.
For weeks now, many have anticipated all four of the top quarterbacks going within the top 10 picks for sure, but possibly three in the top four. Yet, Schefter is now hearing otherwise.
“We’ve heard quarterbacks go 1, 2, 3, 4… in this Draft, that’s not going to happen, I believe.”
That’s quite the statement, and if it’s true, then there is a strong possibility some of the smoke around a guy like Will Levis falling could end up proving to be true. If Levis is there at pick No. 15, then the Packers trade that pick, no question.
Again, I repeat: If Levis is on the board at no. 15, the Packers trade that pick immediately.
No, drafting a quarterback in the first round is not an option right now. Green Bay has to figure out what they have in Jordan Love before they officially move on. The value in trading the No. 15 selection to a team that needs a quarterback is far too high to pass up on, especially because they could end up trading the selection and still end up with Dalton Kincaid.
