2023 NFL Draft: Official Draft Week full two-round mock

52. . LB/Edge. Jacksonville Jaguars. Nolan Smith. 24. player

The Jacksonville Jaguars are an AFC team that you have to think is on the rise, this after making it to the Divisional Round last season. Jacksonville had a monster comeback against the Los Angeles Chargers in the Wild Card Round, and they got the step forward they were looking for from quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

At pick No. 24, the Jaguars turn their attention to the other side of the ball in our mock draft, adding a versatile linebacker in Nolan Smith. Jacksonville has the talent to run away from the AFC South this upcoming season, and Smith could cause major havoc in the pass rush as a rookie.

Deonte Banks. 25. player. 31. . CB. New York Giants

The New York Giants were another franchise that took a huge step forward last season, making it to the playoffs, and earning head coach Brian Daboll Coach of the Year honors. Daniel Jones had a standout season, earning a new contract, and the franchise did a nice job adding some weapons for him in free agency.

Looking ahead to the first round, cornerback is still an issue, but they address it by adding Maryland star Deonte Banks here at No. 25 overall. Banks has been mocked in the first round consistently over the past few weeks, and he fills an immediate need for the Giants’ defense.
