2023 NFL Draft: Official Draft Week full two-round mock
The Las Vegas Raiders are a team that has been rumored to be going up or down in the first round this year, but for now, they stay put at No. 7 overall. This is a pick the team must use on a defensive player, and that is exactly what they do, bringing in Illinois cornerback, Devon Witherspoon.
This draft season, the big debate is whether or not Witherspoon or Christian Gonzalez will be the first cornerback off the board. Witherspoon fits the Raiders’ defensive scheme a bit better than Gonzalez, but either player would be a welcome addition to one of the worst defenses in football.
We officially have a trade, as the Tennessee Titans trade up from No. 11 to No. 8 to get their franchise quarterback. For all the hoopla surrounding Malik Willis during last year’s draft season, it appears the organization is already ready to move on, and they replace Willis with Will Levis as the quarterback of the future.
Levis is another quarterback who has had a rough draft season, but his arm talent is off the charts, and should still land in the top 10. He would become the starter in Tennessee from Day 1, and the hope is that he is more of a legitimate prospect than Zach Wilson, who had the same pre-draft arm buzz a few years back.
