The Phoenix Suns beat the Denver Nuggets, 121-114 on their way to taking their first game of the series and locking it at a game apiece. The Nuggets played well in this game but struggled at times in the non-Jokic minutes.

The Suns were able to win game three against the Nuggets behind two masterclasses performances from Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. The team didn’t have many contributions from others but the Suns’ lack of depth did not hurt them in this match.

3 players that earned the Suns a win: 3. Jock Landale

Jock Landale had a very nice game. He ended up with 6 points and 9 rebounds in this game. He didn’t miss a shot in this game.

Backup center minutes in this series is somewhere the Suns should win with Jokic (needing to get some rest at some point) and the Suns clearly won the non-Jokic minutes. Landale certainly fit a role very nicely in this one.

3 players that earned the Suns a win: 2. Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant had 39 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists. He did shoot horribly from the field in this game, but still, Phoenix needed offense and Durant provided it.

Besides his shooting numbers, he had an amazing game overall. The All-NBA player was doing Durant things getting buckets all around the floor. A lot of ways that the All-NBA player was able to get points was through drawing fouls as well.

3 players that earned the Suns a win: 1. Devin Booker

Devin Booker had the best playoff performance of his career in this one. He ended up with 47 points on 80 percent from the field. Booker only missed five of the twenty-five shots he attempted for the entire game.

He ended up with 9 assists, and 6 rebounds as well in a game that will end up in the history books of the Suns franchise due to the franchise player’s performance.
