The 2023 Kentucky Derby has been run successfully, with Mage being victorious. For those who wanted to know the finishing order, we have that for you.

Last year’s Kentucky Derby was one to remember. Rich Strike, who wasn’t even supposed to be a part of the 148th running of the first leg of the Triple Crown, entered in place of Ethereal Road and won the race with 80-1 odds. But Rich Strike didn’t win the Triple Crown, as they bowed out of the Preakness Stakes.

There was huge excitement entering the 149th running in 2023, but there was some stunning news prior to the race. Forte, the betting favorite to win the race, was pulled just hours before the big race due to a bruised foot.

In final stretch of the race, with Two Phil’s holding the lead, looking to get the win. But it was Mage who made it a closely-contested race. When all was said and done, it was Mage who was able to cross the finish line ahead of the Two Phil’s to get the victory. Mage’s unofficial time of two minutes and one second.

Finishing in third place of the race was Angel of Empire, with Disarm finishing behind them in fourth.
