Best available NBA free agent power forwards: 2. Kristaps Porzingis

Kristaps Porzingis has not been the same player he once was due to his knee injury but he bounced back last season and can play both the 4 and the 5. The Wizards reportedly want to bring him back but he could be helpful to a few different teams.

The Knicks would be a really good fit for a sign-and-trade if they were able to make the money work. New York fans would need to accept a player who disappointed at times and was ultimately traded, but his spacing and playmaking would be helpful for this team.

Additionally, the Knicks’ depth would allow him to not have to play 30+ minutes every night. That would be something new for Thibs but if New York could make it work, it would work wonders for this team.
