The start time for the Orioles and Reds game on Monday was pushed back because of a rain delay in Baltimore. Check here for updates.

For the second time in a week, Orioles fans are dealing with a rain delay.

This week’s series against the Reds was supposed to begin at 7:05 p.m. ET but the tarp is on the field at Camden Yards with the rain falling.

UPDATE: 9:35 p.m. ET: The game, which was halted in the third inning, will resume at 10:05 p.m. ET.

UPDATE 8:25 p.m. ET: A new rain delay is in effect without any word of time for a restart.

The team officially announced the rain delay at 6:45 p.m. ET.

Orioles rain delay update: Orioles-Reds start time after weather delay

The good news is the team was quick to update the approximate start time for the game. First pitch is now scheduled for 7:20 p.m. ET.

If the weather prognosticators have things right, fans won’t have to wait too long for things to get started.

Friday’s game against the Mariners was delayed over an hour and the wait did Baltimore no favors. They lost that game 13-1.

However, the Orioles bounced back to win the next two games over the weekend.

Now they’re facing another delay with hopes of a much shorter wait and a much better result in the end.

Games against the Reds are scheduled for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Cincinnati was one of the hottest teams in baseball with a 12-game winning streak. However, after winning the first game against the Braves on Friday, they dropped two in a row. It’s up to Baltimore to stop them from returning to winning ways.

When play begins, fans will see Cole Irvin on the mound for Baltimore with Brandon Williamson pitching for Philadephia.

This article will be updated as more updates on the Orioles rain delay are provided.
