The 2023 MLB Home Run Derby and All-Star Game will take place at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, WA. Here’s everything you need to know about the Mariners’ ballpark. 

The Seattle Mariners don’t have exclusive rights to T-Mobile Park in 2023. The MLB Home Run Derby and All-Star Game will also take place in the storied ballpark, which opened its gates to fans in 1999.

The HR Derby starts at 8 PM E.T. on Monday, July 10. The All-Star Game starts at the same time on Tuesday, July 11.

Seattle’s park is notoriously difficult to hit in, especially when one factors in the often chaotic weather of the area. But, don’t think that doesn’t mean we’re in for more than our fair share of dingers.

T-Mobile Park has a capacity of 47,929. That makes it the sixth-largest venue in the MLB, according to BetMGM.

The Mariners are known to draw a crowd, especially with the excitement around the team this season. There are few more battle-tested and enthusiastic sports fans in all the world than those located in Seattle. Expect a packed house for all the week’s festivities.

What is the longest home run ever hit at T-Mobile Park?

The longest home run ever hit at T-Mobile Park traveled approximately 470 feet, per Andrew DeWitt of the Athletic. It was a Mike Zunino bomb that landed in the last row of the left field upper deck.

Does T-Mobile Park have a roof?

Yes. T-Mobile Park has a retractable roof with an open-air outfield. It is not a dome.
