Today’s USMNT rumors include Tyler Adams being linked with Manchester United. Matt Turner is set to play against Arsenal in his first game for Nottingham Forest and the Gunners have rejected a bid for Folarin Balogun.

USMNT rumors: Tyler Adams to Manchester United

Tyler Adams of Leeds United has recently been linked with Chelsea. However, it has been reported that he could be an option for another Premier League side. According to The Daily Mail, Manchester United will move for Adams, if they fail to Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina.

Adams will be embarking on a season in the Championship if he cannot get a transfer away from Leeds this summer. The USMNT midfielder would take a move to either Chelsea or United. However, he would be able to play in the Champions League with the Red Devils. Whilst the Blues cannot offer any form of European soccer.

USMNT rumors: Matt Turner vs Arsenal

Matt Turner is set to join Nottingham Forest from Arsenal and his first game could be against his former colleagues at the Emirates. The Gunners host Forest in their opening Premier League match of the season this weekend.

The Sun has reported that “The 29-year-old USA international is expected to complete his £7million move to Forest on Tuesday with the Gunners in line for a further £3million in add-ons after Steve Cooper finally resolved his ‘keeper crisis.”

Turner joins fellow American Ethan Horvath at Forest. However, Horvath -who spent last season on loan at Luton Town- has an uncertain future at the City Ground.

USMNT rumors: Folarin Balogun bid rejected

Folarin Balogun wants to move on from Arsenal this summer in search of regular first-team soccer. The forward has not played for the Gunners since the MLS All-Star game but his club are pricing him out of a transfer.

ESPN has revealed that “Arsenal have rejected an opening offer from Monaco for striker Folarin Balogun… The Premier League club value Balogun at around €58 million ($64m) and are thought to be open to letting him leave at the right price.”

Balogun has also been linked with Inter Milan and West Ham United. However, Mikel Arteta’s side will need to lower their asking price if they are to agree a deal with any club.
