For as long as he can remember, even before he took an interest in sports themselves, Saby RK has been fascinated by listening to people >talk< about sports. As a kid, his older brother would fall asleep listening to the overnight call-in show on the NYC-area radio station WFAN, and he's been hooked on sports talk ever since, requiring at least 20 minutes of sports talk a day to function. (He admits that it often goes way beyond that.) Since 2002, Saby has covered music as a frequent contributor at outlets like Paste, Billboard, Bandcamp, Pitchfork, SPIN, PopMatters, Holler Country, Heavy Consequence, MTV Iggy, and others. He is delighted to be making his sports-coverage debut as a contributor for FanSided.
