We've gone through Selection Sunday to get the 2025 March Madness bracket — now it's time for the Madness to begin properly. That, of course, will begin with the First Four of the NCAA Tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday in Dayton. And as they always are, the games between 16 seeds and 11 seeds will be broadcast on TruTV.

Let's be real, outside of CBS and TNT for the occasional NBA games, there are a lot of college basketball fans who aren't regularly tuning into the networks on which March Madness is broadcast throughout the tournament. TruTV, however, is the biggest outlier in that context.

Unless you watch Impractical Jokers, you may not know where to find TruTV on your cable provider. Don't worry — we've got all of you college basketball fans covered for what you need to know to watch the tournament on TruTV.

Do YouTube TV, Hulu+ Live TV and Sling TV have TruTV?

Many cord-cutters exist among modern sports fans who use YouTube TV, Hulu+ Live TV or Sling TV as their alternative to traditional cable or satellite. If you're worried if they carry TruTV as part of their packages, don't worry even a little bit about that because all of YouTube TV, Hulu and Sling carry TruTV as part of their standard packages. The only note to be aware of is if you're a Sling TV subscriber as the TruTV channel is only available in the Sling Blue package — but even then, Sling has often given a free preview of TruTV for Sling Orange subscribers during March Madness.

How to stream March Madness games on TruTV

Maybe you're on the go or just a big fan of streaming otherwise and aren't a cable or satellite subscriber — or even a subscriber to one of the cord-cutting services. What then to watch the games on TruTV? College hoops fans are still in luck if that's the case. As TruTV is a Turner Sports channel, every game on TruTV (as well as TNT and TBS) will be streamed live on Max via a paid subscription to the service.

TruTV is actually the broadcast channel for the first games of 2025 March Madness as they have the rights for the First Four games that are played on Tuesday and Wednesday. With big brands like North Carolina and Texas in action, that should bring many eyes to the network. They will then, just like the other networks for the tournament, have four games on both Thursday and Friday. That leads us to the Second Round, though we don't have the broadcast schedule there until the matchups are set.

TruTV’s coverage of March Madness concludes after the second round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
