College football season is just about here, which means that everyone will be looking to predict who will be playing in some meaningful postseason games once the campaign is over. Remembering that this is the first year that the College Football Playoff will be in play, things will be a little different for Steele as he makes his picks, but he took a stab at it nonetheless, and for the most part, he’ll probably end up being correct.
In the first semifinal game in the Rose Bowl, he has the Ohio State Buckeyes matching up with the Alabama Crimson Tide, a match up that many college football fans have wanted to see since Urban Meyer took over the Buckeyes.
The second semifinal match up in the Sugar Bowl brings us a match up between the defending national champion Florida State Seminoles and the winners of this game last season, the Oklahoma Sooners.
Steele then has Alabama and Florida State moving on to the title game in Arlington to face off for the first ever College Football Playoff championship.
