Jadeveon Clowney levels Falcons RB Antone Smith (Video)
By Jack Crosby
Last week, Houston Texans no. 1 overall pick Jadeveon Clowney had a pretty strong showing in his NFL debut, and during his second NFL game on Saturday night against the Atlanta Falcons, he showed everyone once again that he can surely end up living up to the hype that was thrust upon him, and it did it at the expense of running back Antone Smith.
Watch in the video below as Smith takes the hand off and then is immediately met by Clowney, who looks as if he was trying to recreate the famous hit he made on Michigan running back Vincent Smith two years ago.
With this being just the second NFL game of his career, it really is scary to think that, barring any sort of serious injury, Clowney can only get better from here. But the fact of the matter is, that’s exactly what the case is.

After the poor showing by the Texans quarterbacks last week in their opener, there were more people that came out and bashed the decision by the Texans to take Clowney rather than a signal caller, but with plays like these, you can’t blame them for taking someone who could be a once in a lifetime talent.
Wonder what Clowney has planned for his third preseason game next week?
