The Buffalo Bills have not made the NFL playoffs in a really long time. In fact, the Bills are the only team in the NFL to have not made the playoffs in the 21st Century, and hold the unfortunate record for the current longest playoff drought in the league.

More from Buffalo Bills

The last time the Bills were in the playoffs was in 1999, when the Tennessee Titans pulled off the Music City Miracle by returning the final kickoff of the game to send the Bills out of the playoffs.

Now 15 years later the Bills are hoping to be an unheralded playoff team led by a sophomore quarterback in EJ Manuel and a rookie head coach in Doug Marrone.

In order to sell more Bills apparel, a clothing store in the Niagara Falls outlet mall called Tee Shirt University is offering a playoff rebate of sorts. If the Buffalo Bills make the playoffs this year, the store will rebate fans up to $200 in apparel.

Now the question is, are the owners of the store certain the Bills won’t make the playoffs and therefore can afford such a high risk? Or are they now only hoping their team won’t make the playoffs for the 15th straight season?

Either way, this tactic should ultimately get the company some press and sales, but it will all be a monumental failure if the Bills do actually make the playoffs this season.
